Since 2004, Chris has worked with prominent investment managers and academic institutions in London and New York. His career includes roles at BlackRock Investment Managers (2006-2013) as a risk manager, quantitative analyst, and in LDI portfolio management. He has collaborated with BlackRock Solutions since its inception in Europe and has used the Aladdin platform since 2006, contributing features clients benefit from today. He has an extensive understanding of the Aladdin data model, numerous front-office processes, derivative markets, and pricing models. Chris has demonstrated expertise in assisting investment managers in solving complex problems and maximising the value of operating platforms like Aladdin. He retains strong connections within BRS and stays updated with Aladdin product developments. Chris holds a BA & MMath in Mathematics from Cambridge University, and an MSc in Financial Engineering, MRes in Computer Science & PhD in Mathematics from the University of London (UCL).
Muaz has worked with global asset managers since 2007, accumulating almost a decade of experience working with multiple asset classes on the Aladdin platform. Prior to this, Muaz gained expertise with several investment management platforms, such as thinkFolio. As a multi-asset and asset allocation specialist, Muaz has deep knowledge of all front office workflows spanning the major portfolio construction tools and the proprietary Aladdin optimisation engine. Muaz combines expertise in finance with a strategic interest in cutting-edge AI and technology, especially when applied to business processes. Muaz obtained a BSc in Computer Science from Brunel University, an MSc in Software Systems Engineering from the University of London (UCL), and an MSc in Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
